Well, I'm just making an update while I have internet access. I've been completely inactive on this site for about a month (I highly doubt anyone noticed haha)because I got distracted by exams and have been travelling with my family since. I'm actually in Venice at the moment.
Anyway, despite being on 'vacation' I have had no time to do any writing, mostly due to my sister dragging me from art gallery to museum to art gallery, from dawn to dusk. We were in Paris for a week and the Louvre was hell. I love art as much as the next person, probably more than the next person, but I would much rather sit at a cafe with a book and take in the city that way than get trampled by a bunch of tourists racing to see the Mona Lisa. Ok, I actually loved the museum, just not the crowded exhibits, and most of the galleries in Italy are much less crowded so I don't mind being dragged to them all. But then there's my mother dragging me around shopping. Never again! I don't need more shoes! Only a few more days though. Italy is so beautiful but I'll be glad to be home again.

Undesirable you may have been, untouchable
you were not. Not forgotten
or passed over at the proper time.
As estimated, you died. Things marched,
sufficient, to that end.
Just so much Zyklon and leather, patented
terror, so many routine cries.
(I have made
an elegy for myself it

flake from the wall. The smoke
of harmless fires drifts to my eyes.
This is plenty. This is more than enough.
